Energy Consumption - Key findings

Final energy consumption is the total energy consumed by end users for both energy and non-energy uses excluding transformation processes. The country’s total final energy consumption in 2020 was 8,654 ktoe with the residential sector consuming about 40%, followed closely by the transport sector (38%) with the least consumption by non-energy users. The fuel consumed the most is Petroleum followed by biomass then electricity.
